Camp Liberty 2017 

OVERVIEW:

We are a Christian school offering full day themed camps for children age 4 through 6th grade. We will have two-three sections of camp that will be geared toward their age groups. Junior camp is for children entering K4 & K5 in the fall. Senior camp is for children entering first grade - sixth grade. Each group will have one teacher along with an aide.  We also have eighth grade and high school counselors to assist the children. The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.  Drop off begins at 7:45 a.m and campers need to be picked up no later than 6pm at no additional charge. You will need to provide your child with lunch and a snack each day.  Before your first day of camp, each family will be required to complete 3 forms:  Parental Agreement, Camper Health Form, and a Statement of Faith.  

Registration for camp costs $25 per camper and includes a free t-shirt.  In order to guarantee your shirt size, please register before May 15th.  The cost of each camp is $210 per week (no prorated days) and must be paid at least one week before each camp week begins.  A $15 fee will be charged for each camp week that is paid late.  If you prepay for camps and have to cancel a week, you must give at least 2 weeks notice prior to that themed week in order to receive a refund.

Be sure to invite a friend or two.  You do not have to be a student at LCS to attend.

AFTERCARE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!!  Our program runs from 8:30-3:30.  As a courtesy to our parents, campers may be dropped off as early as 7:45 and can stay as late as 6:00.  During aftercare, campers will enjoy supervised free play, games, puzzles, arts & crafts, etc.

EXCITING AND ENGAGING SPECIAL ACTIVITIES, IN-HOUSE FIELD TRIPS AS WELL AS WATER PLAY DAYS AND STEM ACTIVITIES EVERY WEEK!! 

CAMPS OFFERED:

June 19 - 23  JUNGLE SAFARI WEEK: Lions and tigers and bears! Oh My! Come on a safari with us to the jungle and explore life in the rainforest. Learn about all different habitats and experience the vast smorgasbord of plant and animal life on our planet.

June 26 - 30 Junior Camp-LIFE IN THE REEF WEEK:  The JUNIOR camp will dive into ocean discovery! Explore water, sea creatures, sand and more through crafts, games, science activities and more!

 June 26 - 30 Senior Camp-ALL SORTS OF SPORTS:  The SENIOR campers will wear ourselves silly with as many games, matches, and tournaments as we can cram into five days. We'll include skills and drills and assorted activities to improve balance and focus while building strength and motor skills. Your team is counting on you! Come join in the fun.

July 3 - 7 ALL AMERICAN WEEK:  [No camp Tuesday July 4th- Fee this week only will be $170] Come celebrate the birth of the country in this fun and interactive camp focused on all that makes America great. We'll build NASA rockets and spacecrafts, and play in our own Red, White and Blue games!

July 10 - 14 WILD WEST WEEK: It is Western Week so strap on your boots and dust off your cowboy hat. It is time for a hoe-down at camp. We will participate in square dancing, pony rides and learning about and feeding farm animals.

July 17 - 21 Junior Camp-ICE CAMP: The JUNIOR campers will investigate, create and explore all things frozen.

July 17 - 21 Senior Camp-ARE YOU GAME? WEEK:  Join the SENIOR campers for a week of Olympic games and a finale of games involving goo, slime, slop, goop, and gunk. Campers will compete in games designed to be energetic, fun and messy!

July 24 - 28 SUPER HERO WEEK: Join us as we explore the adventurous world of your favorite superheroes! This exciting theme provides children the opportunity to create new superheroes, add new powers to existing ones and visit the many planets and worlds they live on. Mixing part science, part physical exercise, part creative and all fun! Buckle up because you are traveling to another dimension.

July 31 - August 4 BUILD DESTROY BUILD: Creativity meets science...then DESTRUCTION! Sign up for some hands on science, math and engineering fun and then participate in the madness!

August 7 - 11 WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE WEEK:  Unleash your child's inner monster and let the wild rumpus begin! Guided mischief of one kind or another will be featured as we sail through each day exploring nature, taming wild critters, performing magic tricks, and playing games inspired by Max, King of the Beasts. If there's one guarantee to this camp, no one will be sent to his room for being naughty! Dreamers and kids with excess imagination need apply!

August 14 - 18 PIRATE VS. NINJA WEEK:  Junior campers will have some swashbuckling pirate fun! Use maps to find lost treasure, pirate hats/eye-patches/sand art, capture the pirate flag, and survive the cannonball attacks through the obstacle course to find your way safely home. Senior campers will test their skills in games of balance, strength and stamina in this fun and entertaining camp. During the week the senior campers will challenge themselves physically and mentally to complete age appropriate (and completely safe!) obstacle course competitions! 

August 21 - 25  ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN WEEK: We are going out with a BANG!  Join us for a summer mash-up of all our favorite summer camp activities. All week we will be celebrating the end of summer with Olympic Games, Dance Parties, Minute to Win It Challenges, Fun with Water and More.
