About the Speaker:

Leighton Johnson, CISA, CISM, CRISC, COBIT 5, CAC, CSX(F)  

Leighton is the CTO of ISFMT (Information Security Forensics Management Team), a provider of computer security & forensics consulting and certification training, and has presented computer security, cyber security and forensics lectures, conference presentations and seminars all across the United States, Asia and Europe.

He is also the founder and CEO of Chimera Security, a research and development company delving into the realms of cryptography, Blockchain, mobile technology and cloud computing to create better and more secure solutions for today’s advanced users and providers. He has over 40 years’ experience in Computer Security, Cyber Security, Software Development and Communications Equipment Operations & Maintenance spanning the industries of retail, government, defense industrial base, banking, and information technology. 

He retains many professional security certifications, including CISA, CISM, COBIT 5 and CRISC and has taught certification, risk management, forensics and auditing courses around the world over the past 15 years. He performs additional duties as the SC-ISACA Board VP and Chapter Instructor and he recently was awarded the HQ ISACA Accredited Trainer status by ISACA and APMG.

Exam Preparation & Training Event

 

You are invited to join us for a two-day CISM exam-focused training event on May 2nd and 3rd from 8 AM to 5 PM. The event is open to ISACA Members and Non-members.

CISM Overview:

For many of the most in-demand information systems professionals and the enterprises they serve, the attainment of ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification has become accepted proof of the necessary competency and experience for a wide range of information security, risk and senior management roles—in countries across the globe, including:

  • Information Security Managers

  • IS/IT Consultants
  • Chief Information Officer

 Adding CISM to your resume/CV, business card and company bio will enable you to stand out as having the required knowledge to:

 CISM Exam Preparation & Training Event Information:

This course is offered to prepare audit and security professionals for the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), certification exam.   The course is also beneficial to those who want to gain greater insight into the foundational aspects of information security governance, information risk management, information security program development and management, and information security incident management. During the two days we will explore the four job practice domains task and knowledge statements, test taking tips, and understanding the logic behind ISACA exam questions. Location: Winewood Auditorium Bldg. 4 (1317 Winewood Boulevard, Tallahassee, FL 32308)

 CPE: 16 hours (CPEs earned may be used by all current ISACA certification holders (CISA, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT), as well as certifications from other organizations such as, the Institute of Internal Auditor’s CIA certification. Please contact your certification provider if you have questions on whether or not the CPE can be applied to a certification not listed above.

Cancellation Policy:

     How funds will be recouped or how the registration will be used if the employee separates from the agency/organization:

A full refund (minus a $10.00 processing fee) can be requested until April 22, 2019. Simply send an email to president@isacatallahassee.org  with the registrant name for cancellation, and the name and address for the refund check.   At any time, up to the day of the event, the agency or registrant may provide a substitute at no additional cost. 

      How funds will be recouped or how the registration will be used if the employee cannot attend the event.

A full refund (minus a $10.00 processing fee) can be requested until April 22, 2019. Simply send an email to president@isacatallahassee.org  with the registrant name for cancellation, and the name and address for the refund check. At any time, up to the day of the event, the agency or registrant may provide a substitute at no additional cost. 

      How funds will be recouped if the event is cancelled. 

If the event is cancelled for any reason, then 100% of the registration will be refunded, and no processing fee will be charged.  Additionally, if the event is to be rescheduled, registrants will receive the option to move their registration to the new date and time in lieu of receiving the full refund.
