Presenter: Paul March, Mental Health Coordinator, Eastern Health |
THIS WORKSHOP IS FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE |
This workshop will emphasize the nature of direct experience and the unreality of thoughts. Learn not to identify with thoughts and how to distinguish between being and doing. Learn how to stop habitual thought patterns that create unhappiness. Learn how to ground yourself in the here-and now and how to turn off automatic pilot. For peace of mind, people need to learn a mindfulness that places attention on awareness itself or consciousness itself.
