The next time you enjoy a delicious tomato, consider that the farm workers picking that crop are likely making about half of what they did in 1960. Some have been subjected to forced servitude – in a word, slavery. It needn’t be this way.
Come to learn the facts and to learn simple ways you can help dismantle the unjust system that fosters this.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Nazareth Association, and the Congregation of St. Joseph, this evening of light refreshments, film and discussion will be made available for a free-will donation.
