Buying or Franchising a Business

St. Charles

Buying  or franchising a business may be a safer way to get into business rather than start from scratch.  A business you buy is a going operation and you know what to expect when you start out.  A franchise is based on a proven formula for the type of business you want to run.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • How to Evaluate a Going Business
  • How to Fund the Purchase
  • What Help You Should Expect From the Present Owner
  • Pros and Cons of  Franchising
  • What Assistance You Should Expect From the Franchisor
  • What Are Reasonable Fees to Pay the Franchisor
