2019 Fall Seminar 

Please join us for the 2019 Fall Seminar featuring two of the most requested topics (based on course evaluations) with two highly regarded professional educators on these topics!  

Part 1 of the seminar will feature Joseph DiPompeo, PE of Structural Workshop, LLC., who will be presenting Structural Framing Issues including beam and column mechanics, material behavior, engineered lumber, trusses, defects in engineered lumber, trusses, columns and dimensional lumber and aging house issues as well as other defects.  Joe is a licensed professional engineer in over 20 states, holds a Master of Engineering degree with a concentration on Structural Engineering, is a Fellow of the Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civl Engineers and has attained many other certifications and licenses.  Joe has presented to home inspector organizations and has many publications.  His expertise in this field will make this session most informative!!

Part 2 of the seminar will feature Jim Seffrin, of the Infraspection Institute who will be presenting on methods to detect water and moisture issues duing a home inspection.   Common areas of leaks, tools to detect leaks, and other methods of leak detection will be discussed.  Jim is co-founder of Jersey Infrared Consultants and has served as Director of the Infraspection Institute since 2000.  He presents to a wide variety of audiences nationwide.  Jim is a Level III Certified Infrared Thermographer, Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional, and a Master Thermographer.  He has published many articles and co-written many standards of practice for the IR community.
