Montana Policy Institute is pleased to bring national, state, & local experts together for a discussion of budget reform, fiscal discipline, government transparency, education policy, & property rights.
We'll provide practical alternatives to return growth and prosperity to Montana. Don't miss out on what promises to be one of the most important policy events heading into the 2013 Montana Legislative Session.
This year's forum will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 and Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Best Western Premier Great Northern Hotel in Helena, Montana.
The Friday afternoon panel discussions will be open to legislators only, and will be led by local, state, & national experts with Q & A to follow brief presentations. There will be 4 different tracks available. Please see agenda below for details.
Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM with a keynote from our featured speaker, Stephen Moore to follow. Mr. Moore is the Editorial Board Member and Senior Economic Writer at The Wall Street Journal. He also has contributed to many programs, including Fox News and CNBC.
Saturday Main Session morning doors open at 7:30 AM & the forum begins at 8 AM. The morning portion will consist of presentations by policy specialists from across the country. The Main Session ends at 11:45 AM in time for you to join the Cat/Griz tailgate of your choice! We are expecting a full house, so prior registration is highly encouraged.
Registration fees: Friday Legislators Only Session registration is $10 (after Nov 7, fee is $15). Individual Dinner & Keynote registration is $45 (after Nov 7, fee is $50). Couples Dinner & Keynote registration is $40 each (after Nov 7, fee is $45 each). Saturday Main Session registration is $15 (after Nov 7, fee is $20). Advanced registration is encouraged and appreciated. Registration fees are accepted at the door. DVDs of the 2012 Legislative Forum Keynote and Saturday Main Session will be available for purchase at time of registration for $15.
