Content Marketing: How to Connect with Buyers to Grow Your Business

NOTE: This workshop was originally posted for 2/4, but the correct date is 2/20. Thank you!

Today’s buyers are more informed than ever before. With up to 60% of their decision made before they even reach out to a supplier, buyers have flipped from vendor-driven to self-led information gathering. It’s up to the marketer to give them the information they need to make up their mind. That’s where content marketing comes into play: by developing educational, informative, and valuable content that helps prospects understand the market, companies can position themselves as a trusted resource and their product on the purchaser’s short list.

In this session, we’ll discuss how you can use content marketing to attract prospects and increase revenues. We’ll brainstorm ways you can build a content marketing program for your organization. While this session is geared for companies new to content marketing, others with general knowledge can learn new strategies and tactics to improve their content marketing programs.

This is an interactive session; at the end of our time, attendees will understand:

  • What is Content Marketing and how it can help your organization
  • How to distinguish buyer-oriented content from traditional marketing materials
  • How to generate ideas of content for your organization
  • How to promote the content that you create to increase sales

Your Workshop Moderator is Alison Harris of Harris Media Services

Alison is the founder and principal of a B2B marketing firm where she has helped softwarecompanies, service providers, and other businesses sell complex products and services to a business audience. She has expertise in all facets of B2B marketing, including communications and PR, sales campaigns, and content marketing.
