Two Hot Topics!

Navigating the Multi-Generational Workforce
and a Legal Update: The Year in Review

Don't Miss Our Information-Packed December 5 North Country HR Consortium Meeting!

In 2019, we are all dealing with a multi-generational workforce, which provides challenges (as well as many benefits) to employee relations. Bonnie Black, Consortium partner and Director of Behavioral Health Services North's (BHSN) Employee Assistance Services (EAS), will explain how HR managers can help their employees bridge some of the barriers and resolve conflicts that arise as a result of the multiple generations in today's workplace.

Jaci Kelleher, consortium partner and attorney with the firm of Stafford, Owens, Piller, Murnane, Kelleher & Trombley, will provide a review of legislation passed in 2019 that impacts Human Resources and the workforce. In addition to amendments to the New York State Sexual Harassment Prevention legislation, there have also been changes to Paid Family Leave and Pay Equity laws, as well as other significant legal developments.

We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting — gain information and network with your Human Resources colleagues!
