WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO A POTLUCK DINNER TO CELEBRATE TERRA MADRE DAY 2011

Terra Madre Day is an opportunity for the entire Slow Food network to celebrate local food and promote sustainable production and consumption to their communities. Terra Madre Day also highlights our projects to safeguard food biodiversity, bring taste education to adults and children and connect producers with consumers. 

The theme for the evening is "The Pleasure and Politics of Food". Together we will fire up a potluck-fueled evening of friendly dialogue and good, clean and fair local food and to mark international Terre Madre day and to engage the public on matters of local food systems. We ask that each attendee bring a potluck item to share, something that includes as much local food products as possible. Please share what inspires you!There is no charge for this event, though we do invite those who are able to donate $10 to the cause.
