Worcester Wine & Food Festival!

This 9th annual event - Monday evening, March 7, 2011 at the DCU Center Worcester - brings people together from the entire greater Worcester community and beyond to taste fine wines from both domestic and international winemakers and to sample signature dishes from some of the finest local restaurants, caterers and speciality food purveyors.

This event builds community awareness of the Worcester JCC and its role in providing quality child-care programs for economically disadvantaged families.  Proceeds of the Worcester Wine & Food Festival fund the Tuition Scholarship Program at the Worcester JCC.

• Financial scholarships are offered to less fortunate children to attend JCC Programs:  Summer Camps, Pre-School and After-School Special.
• The Program assists families in stabilizing their child care so families may continue with full-time employment, gain full-time employment, provide care to a disabled family member or child and/or provide care for an elderly family member.
• JCC provides over $70,000 in scholarship assistance to over 100 families through the Wine Event, Camp Appeal, & Donations.
