Join King County Subsection and Cimco-GC Systems Inc. for an On Line Control Valve Service Class. This class will provide a complete review of the valves offered by Cimco-Cla-Val Inc, explain the hydraulics, operation, maintenance and repairs of the different valves including their controls and accessories.
The class will be taught by Robert Velasquez, with Cimco-GC Systems, who trains and consults engineers and water districts across the Pacific Northwest on the operation and control of their facilities, including the installation and maintenance of control valves. Over the last several years he has conducted dozens of trainings from maintenance to system design, and enjoys developing new presentations on pressing topics such as electronic controls, building redundancy in water stations, and how control valves can help improve water quality. He has conducted accredited trainings with the PNWS-AWWA, ERWOW, and OAWU organizations.
Cost of the class is $120 for members of AWWA and $240 for non-members.
Class begins at 8:00 AM with training running from 8AM to 4PM. Please try and sign in atleast 5-minutes before the start of class.
A total of 0.7 CEUs will be awarded upon completion of this training.
