Description: In these four sessions, you will learn the basics of crochet, including how to hold the hook and tension the yarn for best results; how the various stitches are formed; how to work the chain stitch as well as the single, half, and double crochet stitches; how best to work into a foundation chain; how to add a new ball of yarn/color; how to weave in ends; and how to read a crochet pattern. Students will begin a scarf which uses the stitches taught in the class.
Materials: A hook and practice yarn will be supplied to you.
