Level: Intermediate/Advanced Beginner - students must be able to knit, purl, and be familiar with knitting in the round.

Description: This class will take away all your fears about short rows and equip you with the skills to make your garments fit just as you want them to, as well as how to add color and texture to spice up a knitted piece.  You will learn three different techniques to “close the hole”. You will practice each method in class, and leave with labelled samples to reference for future knitting projects. You will examine knitted pieces where short rows were used, and discuss the benefits of using one method over another.

Materials: Please bring light-colored worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles to practice the variety of techniques on; also bring index cards and a pencil.
