Join web video specialist Alex Ferguson and writer Alice Osborn as they discuss creating strong vLogging (video blogging) content and a strong first script, so you can grow your business. This will be a hands-on workshop which will most benefit those who have some video and blogging experience.

Alex Ferguson bio:

Born Canadian and bred Texan, Alex has been in the video production industry for more than 7 years. He's worked on countless local business video productions, won a Telly Award for a nonprofit video, and completed a full length documentary of a mission-trip to Tanzania. During this time the need for quality web video content at an affordable price has grown exponentially and he's made sure his company EpicRealm Productions delivers. He lives in the Triangle with his wife, Alisane.

Alice Osborn bio:

 

Alice Osborn, M.A. is the author of two books of poetry, Unfinished Projects (Main Street Rag, 2010) and Right Lane Ends (Catawba, 2006); she is a manuscript editor, freelance writer, storyteller, and of course, blogger. A former Raleigh Charter High School English teacher, Alice has served as a Writer-in-Residence in the Artists in the Schools program since 2009 and has taught creativity, memoir and business workshops to Triangle residents over the last four years. Her work appears in Raleigh’s News and Observer, The Pedestal Magazine, and in numerous journals and anthologies.
