4-H Clover University Summer Day Camps

CAMP: Magician's Laboratory

WHO: Kindergarten-2nd graders

WHEN: June 13, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.  

LOCATION:  Riverside Hall Park

THANK YOU to Riverside City Council for helping sponsor these camps at a reduced rate to Riverside addresses.  

 

 

Join Clover University =  fun + hands-on + learning + science + summer day camp + 4-H  + friends! 

This camp is open to all youth kindergarten-2nd grade; no previous 4-H experience required or expected. Scholarship available upon request to amygreen@iastate.edu or call 319-53-4811.  

Be a magician for the day and make wands, stir up potions, build screaming balloons, wear wizard hats, put on a magic show with worms, exploding soda, invisible ink and more!

Important Clover University Reminders: 

  • Registration assistance available at the Washington County Extension Office 319-653-4811
  • Curriculum is delivered by Washington County Extension & Outreach staff with the assistance of 4-H volunteers. 
  • Snack and beverage will be provided.  Please make note on registration form of any food allergies.   For camps that extend over the lunch hour, youth must bring their own sack lunch and beverage.
  • Space is limited!  Minimum of 10 registrations is needed to hold camp.  Maximum of 25 registrations accepted.  You are registered only by completing the form and returning it to Washington County Extension with proper payment.
  • Listen to KCII radio, 106.1FM,  for any weather-related cancellations or changes.
  • An email reminder will be sent regarding camp registration after the registration deadline with reminders of any special directions if an email is provided on the registration form.   
  • Many camp agendas include indoor and outdoor activities.  Dress appropriately for outdoor play.  Apply sunscreen. 
  • No refunds after the June 1 registration deadline.
