47th Annual Diocesan Convention

EPISCOPAL DIOCESE OF THE CENTRAL GULF COAST

The 47th Annual Diocesan Convention will be held at St. Andrew's By-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Destin, Florida on February 22 - 24, 2018. ALL REGISTRATION IS ELECTRONIC. Please call Jenn Johnson in the Diocesan Office at (850) 434-7337, if you are unable to complete registration online.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE CONTINUING TO REGISTRATION PAGE :

CHURCHES SHOULD MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REGISTER THEIR CLERGY AND DELEGATES AT THE SAME TIME in order to make one complete payment. It will be helpful to have the following information before starting the registration process: 

  • attendee first and last name (as it shall appear on nametag)
  • attendee email address (required for convention communications)
  • attendee phone number
  • credit card number (if paying by credit card) or PayPal information

WHO SHOULD REGISTER FOR CONVENTION: 

  • VOTING CLERGY(parochial, canonically resident, retired serving under canon 3)
  • NON-VOTING CLERGY (non-parochial, non-canonically resident, retired, vocational deacons) 
  • LAY DELEGATES
  • ALTERNATE DELEGATES (only those attending Convention)
  • CLERGY SPOUSES AND VISITORS
  • STANDING COMMITTEE MEMBERS
  • YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES appointed by Bishop Russell. There is no fee for YOUTH REPRESENTATIVES

NOTE: There will not be a Friday evening Gala. Instead, we plan to hold a huge food packing session Friday afternoon. Your Friday dinner will be on your own; however, we encourage you to plan your group dining with other congregations for fellowship and conversation. 

PRE-CONVENTION MEETINGS FOR ALL DELEGATES:

Delegates, please plan on attending one of the pre-Convention meetings. Dates and locations can be found on the Convention webpage, www.diocgc.org/2018-diocesan-convention.
