Chicks in Horticulture - the Brunch is Back

Taking the STRESS out of Marketing

Drawing from her years in the industry and the lessons learned from introducing Proven Winner plants, Jane Beggs-Joles will give you tips for getting the most traction from your marketing efforts.

Join Us in Welcoming Jane Beggs-Joles

In her over twenty years of working for Spring Meadow Nursery she has had the privilege of helping to introduce some truly outstanding plants to the North American horticulture industry. Highlights include ‘Limelight’ and IncrediballŽ hydrangeas, Summer WineŽ Physocarpus, and Spilled WineŽ Weigela.

She and her husband have two teenage daughters, two cats they found in the ditch by the farmhouse, and a very loud Norwegian Elkhound. No, her garden is not amazing. The kids keep her busy and the dog digs up the lawn. But she embraces Michigan’s four seasons with a landscape that has something to look at all year long.

Being female within the horticulture industry has its own benefits and challenges. LINLA recognizes the contribution of women to the horticulture industry at the annual Chicks in Horticulture Brunch. Chicks (and roosters!) from all sectors of horticulture gather to hear a well-known female horticulturalist speak to the power of women in the green industry.
