Grandparents and Special Friends Day
A very memorable day designed for the Grandparents and Special Friends of Roycemore students.
All are welcome whether your student is just entering pre-kindergarten or just getting ready to graduate! We welcome you one and all. The morning will include delicious treats and coffee, musical performances featuring all grades and special time in the classroom just for you!
Parents are welcome to attend the performances, however classroom time is reserved for our special guests. We understand that grandparents are often unavailalbe for events like this one. However, we would like to encourage all families, especially Lower School, to feel free to invite a family friend or neighbor in place of a close relative. If a special guest cannot be arranged for your child that day, please share that information with your student's classroom teacher to help us best plan accordingly.
8:30 - Drop off children to their classes, then enjoy coffee and treats.
9:00 10:15 - Musical Program and tumbling
10:15 - Lower School grandparents and special friends will return to classrooms with your student for special activities.
10:15 - Middle and Upper School grandparents and special friends are invited the library to a special, intergenerational discussion with students moderated by Dr. Theodora Franck and Mr. William Horrine.
11:00 - Depart Roycemore
