This 30-minute ergonomics seminar will discuss anatomy and focus on one of the forgotten core principles of ergonomics which is that you must move, exercise, and stretch if you want to provide your patients with great dental care and leave work less drained and in less pain.
When practiced regularly, there are specific physical movements that can prevent many potential injuries related to the repetitive motions in the dental industry. If the pain in your hand, neck or back is a result of daily repetitive wear and tear, it must be understood that healthy movements to counteract and prevent persistent pain and long-term damage has to become routine as well. This new habit, just like flossing and brushing, provides huge long-term rewards to you and your patients.
Come learn specific postures, exercises, and stretches that precisely target the prevention of hand, neck, and back pain common in dental professionals. (A recent survey found 87% of dentists reported suffering persistent hand, neck or back pain in the last 12 months.)
