Vacation & Travel Photography Workshop

Thursday, May 12, 2011

7:00PM to 10:00PM

INSTRUCTOR:  David J. Simchock (www.DavidSimchock.com / www.VagabondVistas.com)

THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT:  Check out the new and inspiring Vagabond Vistas Learning Studio.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:  Think of this as a crash-course in travel photography geared toward the hobbyist photographer who simply wants to create more-interesting and better-composed "vacation photos".

In a single evening, David addresses a multitude of travel scenario "applications" combining the students' working knowledge of their cameras with their composition skills.  He also covers peripheral subjects such as the ethics of "people photography" while traveling in a foreign land.

The class is split into three distinct subject areas:  PEOPLE, PLACES & THINGS

TOPICS INCLUDE:

  • Cameras, Lenses & Accessories for traveling
  • Camera & Lens Operation Techniques
  • Composition
  • People & Street Portraiture
  • Landscapes & Seascapes
  • Cityscapes & Architecture
  • Markets
  • Sunrise & Sunset
  • Waterfalls
  • Nature - Flowers & Wildlife
  • Story-telling with Photos

See David's Travel Photography galleries HERE.

Class size is limited to just six (8) students.
