If it's broke, Fix It!
Celebrating Earth Day has been a tradition in SE Seattle for decades! Neighborhood teams organize gardening, weeding, litter pick up, paint out, building projects, etc., to make our Mother Earth more beautiful and neighborhoods sparkle just in time for summer!
Project Funding: Teams can apply for Dept. of Neighborhood's Matching Small Sparks Funding before March 17th. We are happy to help with this process. http://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/programs-and-services/neighborhood-matching-fund
Back again: 10 Prizes awarded! Food containers for each team! Seattle Public Utilities Adopt a Street supplies provided. Teams can provide stories, photos and videos.
Returning to: Rainier Chamber office is the pick up and drop off location. 5290 Rainier Ave. S. Seattle 98118. (corner of Rainier Ave. & 42nd Ave.) Teams can pick up tools/supplies on Friday afternoon if want to get a head start on Saturday.
