Come for a free lunch and some of the easiest crafting you've ever done. We will join our metro-area membership doing our bit to provide comfort to shelter pets in the South Sound. These animals come in scared and often very cold, so the tie-blankets we are making are a warm welcome to their new home. Each pet will get to keep their blanket during their stay and when they're placed in a permanent home.
No experience is required to help us make blankets. Preparation requires use of scissors and the ability to tie a simple knot. If you've never made a tie-blanket, you'll be amazed at how easy it is.
We will be operating out of the State Farm DuPont Operations Center's Large Private Dining Room. The crafting station will be open from 10am to 2pm for you to come in and participate as time allows. You do not have to be a State Farm employee to participate.
CPCU will be providing the materials, food, and beverages. If you're joining us from within the building, maybe bring a pair of scissors with you just in case.
Grab your coworkers and come help make a difference in the community. (Check out photos from one of the previous events at our Gallery.)
