Join Livable Memphis for a movie discussion sponsored by the West Tennessee section of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Planning Association (TAPA). The video will highlight the pros and cons of land development in Portland and provide opportunities to discuss Portland’s commonalities with Memphis.

For almost 40 years, Portland has had unique development regulations. Though these regulations have led to Portland’s ranking as one of America’s most livable cities, they have not come without disagreement.

Questions to Consider

• Should land development regulations control industry?
• Can you reach most destinations in 20 minutes?
