Held at the luxurious Hotel Valley Ho in the heart of Scottsdale's Arts and Entertainment District, Southwest Fest features two of the nation's top educators. Keynote speaker Kathy Morgan, EA will focus on tax preparation topics, and will be joined by NTPI Faculty member Marc Dombrowski, EA. Aaron Blau, EA, CPA will also return to provide an ethics update with a focus on conflicts-of-interest.

Kathryn Morgan has spent over 20 years with the Premium H&R Block office in Bossier City, Louisiana.  An Enrolled Agent, Kathy also is a fellow of the prestigious National Tax Practice Institute and is a noted Instructor and Representation Specialist.  Kathy's work can be found published by several research companies, icnluding Parker Tax Publishing and Taxconnections.com.

Gelie Akhenblit, CEO / Founder of NetworkingPhoenix is an entrepreneur, speaker, mother and mentor who has altered the landscape of networking in Phoenix, Arizona by visualizing, creating, and launching an online platform that has democratized how people connect in-person.

Most recently, Gelie delivered a TEDx talk on the topic of freedom. In her message, she shared her story of being a political refugee from the former Soviet Union and how her journey to freedom has evolved and led her to chase after her dreams.
