We are excited to announce our inaugural Summit: ELEVATE, a two-day event in Washington, D.C. to "Empower Leader Engagement, Vision, and Advancement Through Education." The event builds on our   Higher Education Summit, founded in 2010, with a renewed focus on student pathways through and beyond college.

Join us September 29th-30th as we ELEVATE students, professionals, campuses, leaders, and community stakeholders to ensure future success and advancement in the Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Attendees are welcome to join Summit events from among the following.

Summit Workshop: For Campuses
Friday September 29th | 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Private Event, Pre-registration Required.

This workshop features a facilitated space for Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) administrators, staff, and researchers to identify key challenges in the areas of research, advocacy, and awareness.

Summit Convening: For Leaders & Professionals
Friday, September 29th | 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Free Event, Open to the Public but Registration is Required.

At the convening, we will engage panels of experts, researchers, policy makers, and community members in     a dialogue about the current and future status of AANAPISIs, within the context of the current political climate.

Summit Gala: For Supporters

The gala is a celebration that recognizes ten years of having Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs), acknowledges the accomplishments of APIASF Scholars, and honors community leaders who have made significant contributions to increasing access to higher education for AAPI students.

Summit Workshop: For Campuses, Leaders & Professionals

Free Event, Open to the Public but Registration is Required.

This workshop connects AANAPISI administrators and staff with community-based organizations and other public stakeholders with the shared goal of developing a set of strategic recommendations in the areas of research, advocacy, and public awareness to meet the needs identified by AANAPISI administrators and staff. 

Summit Leadership Academy: For Students
Saturday, September 30th | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Free Students & Scholar Event, Registration is Required.

The Summit Leadership Academy will support the development of AAPI students into graduates poised to prosper in today's economy. Sessions will focus on professional skills development, mentorship, career aspirations, and leadership training. 

The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) was founded by leaders throughout the community with a vision to see all AAPIs have access to higher education and resources that cultivate their academic, personal and professional success. We look forward to your participation in this year's Summit as we work together towards a brighter future for our community!
