Keep Kids in Class:
Building Positive School Climates
In the context of national trends away from zero tolerance policies and the recent Massachusetts school discipline law, the positive school climates conference is an opportunity to talk about innovations and best practices to keep kids in class where they are safe, supported, and available for learning. This conference brings together educators, advocates, youth, the juvenile justice and child welfare community, and policy-makers to learn about the importance of positive school climates for increasing academic engagement and success.
