Dear San Mateo County Business,
You might be wondering, does it make sense to have my business be Green Certified? You bet it does. A report was conducted by IPSOS over nine countries (US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, India and China) using over 11,000 online interviews and 18 focus groups. It determined that 79% of consumers would rather buy from companies doing their best to reduce their impact on the environment.
The only way to ensure that your business has the opportunity to become certified or re-certified and maintain Green Business status in 2013 is by attending the next FREE Green Business Fast Track Workshop. You might have missed the first workshop, but there is another opportunity on Tuesday, April 9th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the San Mateo Public Library.
In an effort to best serve all the businesses we have developed a 2-hour Fast Track Workshop designed to make the certification or re-certification process as smooth and efficient as possible, for your business. The workshop will help you to become more familiar with the statewide database and how it can benefit your business, walk you through the electronic checklist and address some key measures. The workshop will also be a forum to share challenges and best practices with other businesses and get your questions answered by program coordinators.
