Health Law at Arizona Law: Phoenix Networking Reception 

Arizona Law and Health Current, Arizona's Health Information Exchange, are co-hosting an inaugural Health Law Networking Reception in Phoenix on Thursday, August 15, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the UA Phoenix Biomedical Campus. 

This inaugural event seeks to bring together health care professionals, alumni, and those interested to connect and learn about exciting new initiatives in the health law and policy field.

No Cost to Attend | Space is Limited

The reception will include a high-level overview from Health Current's Chase Millea, In-House Counsel & Privacy Officer, on Recent Developments in Health Information Technology.  

This presentation is part of a new online course on Legal and Regulatory Aspects for Health Care Delivery that will be offered this Fall 2019 as part of Arizona Law's Graduate Certificates in Health Law.

The reception will also highlight Arizona Law’s two fully online Graduate Certificates in Health Law that are designed for non-lawyers to identify and resolve the legal issues that frequently emerge in providing patient care. A Certificate can be completed part-time in one year, in either:

Graduate Certificate in Health Law for Health Professionals
This multidisciplinary certificate covers a sophisticated and nuanced understanding of how laws and regulations operate within health care organizations, including topics on reimbursement, compliance, confidentiality, and scope of practice, as several examples.

Graduate Certificate in Regulatory Science
Arizona Law faculty and internationally recognized researchers from the Critical Path Institute,  offer this certificate on how to accelerate the development of drugs, devices, and diagnostics through greater understanding of the regulatory approval process.

Certificates may be applied to the Master of Legal Studies in Health Law & Policy. There are no fees or entrance exams to submit an application.  To learn more and to apply.
