Farm Fresh Favorites Cooking Class 

Chef Mete will help broaden your palette of cooking techniques in this one-day immersion into farm fresh cooking. Join us to explore the flavors of fresh, locally grown vegetables in a variety of traditional dishes. From selecting and working with seasonal produce to sautéing, grilling, and steaming! You’ll learn how to create plate after plate of meatless deliciousness with Kentucky Proud ingredients.


  • Tuscan panzanella bread and tomato salad (chunks of hardy bread and vine-ripened tomatoes, red onions and basil, dressed with extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar)
  • Grilled zucchini and eggplant roll-ups with herbed ricotta pesto (rolled with herbed cheese mixture and topped with marinara sauce and a pinch of parmesan cheese).
