Organizations working with vulnerable populations must protect both those that they serve and those that serve them. In particular, a sharp eye must be kept for potential abuse. Those who are elderly, or those who are over the age of 18 who are developmentally disabled with a functional, mental, or physical inability to care for or protect themselves are considered vulnerable.

Both employees and volunteers should know how to recognize the signs of abuse, understand their reporting obligations, and conduct their duties in a manner that protects them from falsely made allegations. Join Dr. Millie Watkins as we explore these topics, and more, in our upcoming webinar.
