The theme for this year’s Campus Sustainability Day – a national day of celebrating sustainability on campuses across the country and globe - is Climate Adaptation: Resilient Campuses & Communities. Join this Keynote Broadcast with Second Nature for a discussion from higher education leaders on the role of campuses in adapting to a changing climate, innovations in climate resilience and mitigation, and advancing community partnerships and opportunities. The broadcast will feature presentations and a discussion from college presidents and other leaders in climate resilience on the leadership imperative for higher education on this topic, and practical issues related to addressing both opportunity and responsibility in a changing climate.

What is the theme for CSD 2013?
The theme for the upcoming Campus Sustainability Day is “Climate Adaptation: Resilient Campuses & Communities.”  Campuses are invited to interpret this theme broadly, making connections and celebrating successes on a variety of related topics including the role of campuses in adapting to a changing climate, innovations in climate resilience and mitigation, education for sustainability, and campus / community partnerships.

What are the events that my campus can participate in?
Second Nature will host a keynote broadcast for Campus Sustainability Day at 2pm EST on Wednesday, October 23rd 2013.  Other events and opportunities hosted by supporting organizations will be posted as they are scheduled.

How can I share my campus’ CSD events?
