DID YOU KNOW?  The FPA of Michigan receives hundreds of interview, speaker, public assistance, and media expert requests every year?  If you want to receive those inquiries, be part of the Media Response Team and learn about how to become media savvy, this Media Training event is for you.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?  This presentation will be lead by FPA of Michigan Public Relations Director, Jason Moore, who will present FPA guidelines and resources, identifying and securing opportunities and most importantly Great Tips for giving effective presentations and Q&A.  After Jason's presentation, Jeff Benjamin*, senior editor for Investment News, will provide comments and tips from a reporter's viewpoint.

*ABOUT JEFF BENJAMIN:  Jeff Benjamin, senior editor for Investment News, has been a professional journalist for more than 20 years. He writes the weekly Investment Insights column, featuring various investment opportunities, as well as daily coverage of a full range of investment strategies. Jeff joined Investment News in March 2000 from Cerulli Associates in Boston, where he worked as an analyst specializing in managed accounts and alternative investments. Prior to that he covered the money management industry as a reporter for Dow Jones News Service in New York. Jeff began his career in Maryland where he worked as a business reporter for a number of news organizations, including The Baltimore Daily Record. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Central Michigan University.    During his career, Jeff has received more than two dozen state and regional awards for news reporting.
