Exodus of young people! Retail apocalypse!  We hear phrases like this all the time, but are they real? How can we tell?

CTData Academy's introductory session is designed to expand data literacy. Participants come away with a greater understanding of data collection and analysis and a more critical eye toward data encountered in everyday life. 

"What data should our business owners/property owners/EDCbe looking at, before they make their next decisions?" - Data sources and collection 

"We want a grocery store. What does the data tell us? Are grocery chains looking at this same data?" - Data assessment and collection

Our guest speaker is Rachel Leventhal-Weiner from the CT Data Collaborative, who will help CT Main Street Network members expand their data literacy, critically assess data we encounter every day and collect useful information that will help create a compelling case for Main Street.
