A hands-on workshop to help you with social media marketing for your design business.

Susan Leinen Michelle Chiang, and Holly Higbee-Jansen have put together three summer workshops to help you get your social media accounts jump-started. Each small group session will have a short presentation focused on one social media platform. The rest of the time Michelle, Holly and Susan will be available to help coach attendees with social media questions and how-to's.

July 22nd - Photo Sharing with Instagram

Instagram can be a powerful social media partner for your design business.  As an image based platform, it is the perfect medium for creative businesses to use for promotion and connection.  Combining compelling content by balancing fun and imaginative images with strong business messages, Instagram can help you move your business forward.  This class will show you how to set up your Instagram account, and show you how to engage with others while cultivating a targeted following. We will also discuss the new updates and editing features recently added to the Instagram app.
Workshop format: 
  • 9:45 am - 10:30 am Welcome, Introduction, and Presentation
  • 10:30 am - 11:45 am Hands on coaching for Instagram or any other Social Media 
  • Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
Please bring: 
  • Your Laptop with power cord
  • Photos and/or graphic images for uploading to your Social Media accounts
  • Make sure you have access to your passwords
