Stephanie Pearl-McPhee is a writer, mother, blogger, knitting humorist and philosopher, and the author of seven funny books about knitting, one of which spent a glorious week at the very bottom of the New York Times Bestseller’s list. She lives in Toronto, Canada with assorted teenaged daughters and a long suffering husband, all of whom have her outsmarted. Stephanie avoids housework, loves to teach knitting, and works very hard at both. She is the co-founder of the Sock Summit, the worlds only full scale conference for Sock Knitters, and plays hostess to Tricoteuses Sans Frontières/Knitters Without Borders, a worldwide group of knitters that have donated more than one million dollars to MSF. She keeps the blog Yarnharlot in her inestimable spare time.
