2019 Youth Development Master's Institute 

Kids at Hope in conjunction with Arizona State University Sanford School of Social & Family Dynamics and the Center for the Advanced Study and Practice of Hope annually sponsors the Youth Development Master's Institute. The week long institute Attracts World Leaders in the fields of child and youth development, education, law enforcement, juvenile justice, child welfare, and health. The institute is recognized for its Exciting Keynote Speakers, workshops, site visits, and the latest information about hope, optimism, success, and resiliency

Growth Mindset is defined as the understanding that abilities and intellegence can be developed.Eduardo is the Co-Founder & CEO of Mindset Works along with Dr. Carol Dweck, Stanford researcher and author who discovered the new psychology of success. He co-founded it in 2007 to help people and organizations develop learning-oriented cultures and systems. He has spoken at numerous conferences, delivered two popular TEDx talks, and has been featured on prominent media outlets.

Dr. Robert Maurer Bob is the Director of Behavioral Sciences for the Family Practice Residency Program at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and a faculty member with the UCLA School of Medicine. His work as a clinical psychologist has resulted in the development of an extensive series of programs designed to meet the challenges of building and sustaining our excellence and well-being.
The impact of Dr. Maurer's unique approach to personal happiness and success is reinforced by his commitment to scientific research.
