This is the first presentation in Supervisor Andersen's Leadership Series. She believes it is important to keep the citizens of Contra Costa apprised of the important issues we're facing and will regularly be hosting these events to keep you informed.
Supervisor Andersen invites you to meet Contra Costa Fire Protection District's new Chief Jeff Carman.
He will share his perspective on the future of fire in our County.
Fire Chief Jeff Carman was appointed Chief of the Contra Costa Fire Protection District in October 2013 by the Board of Supervisors, which also serves as the ConFire Board of Directors. He came to our County from Roseville where he was Assistant Fire Chief, having served there since 1995, working his way up through the ranks. In his six months on the job, he has brought great leadership and an innovative approach to finding ways to best deliver both fire protection and emergency medical services despite very limited fiscal resources. At this event Chief Carman will share his vision of the future of fire services in Contra Costa.
