Iowa Epilepsy Advocacy Day

Join us on March 16th to educate legislators on epilepsy.  This is a great opportunity to meet with your local legislators who represent you to share your journey of epilepsy and how that impacts your quality of life.  We encourage individuals, families, caregivers, spouses, friends, professionals and others who are impacted by epilepsy to be in attendance!

9:30 am   Program (Legislators & Advocates to speak)

10:00 am Governor's formal proclamation signing Global Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness

After Program: Meet with your legislators 

After Program:  Small group discussion on advocacy training with Rik Shannon o the Iowa DD Council for those who are new to the Capitol or would like a re-fresher.
