Join CiaoDC’s Private Tour of one of the greatest Italian painters of the 16th century, Venetian Master Artist, Jacobo Tintoretto (c.1519-1594). This exclusive tour will feature the first full-scale retrospective of the artist in America, Tintoretto: Artist of Renaissance Venice at the National Gallery of Art and celebrates the 500th anniversary of Tintoretto’s birth!
Guided by National Gallery Senior Lecturer and Head of Tours and Lectures, Dr. Eric Denker, the Gallery’s presentation comprises 46 paintings and ten drawings. The majority of the paintings are immense, stretching nine, ten, or even 16 feet. This stunning exhibit is exclusive to the National Gallery of Art!
