Please join us for this virtual, interactive training

As leaders and administrators, it can be a challenge to find strong, qualified candidates to interview and hire. Once found, the biggest challenge can be to retain and develop them into future leaders for your program. In this training, participants will be provided with information, resources, and strategies for how to onboard new staff and provide development opportunities internally and externally with the goal of providing greater retention among domestic violence program staff.

This training is part of ODVN's Directors' Academy and is only open to Executive and Program Directors at member programs. If you have questions about your eligibility, please contact training@odvn.org.

Trainers: Kenosha Davenport, Doctorate of Business Administration, BA in Psychology and Sociology, Contractor, Ascending Concepts; Erica Simmons, Sr. HR Consultant, Rice Education Consulting; Darlene Thomas, MSW, Executive Director at GreenHouse17

CEUs: To obtain 3 CEUs, you are required to attend the entire training and complete the evaluation. When you register, please include your complete license number if you are a licensed counselor or social worker in Ohio. Evaluations and Certificate Request Forms must be completed within 24 hours after the training to receive CEUs.
