Dr. Kathryn Mueller, the Medical Director of the Division of Workers’ Compensation, will update us on the recent changes made to the Medical Treatment Guidelines, specifically Rule 16/the Utilization Standards, and Rule 17/Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Shoulder Injury Medical Treatment Guidelines. 

Dr. Mueller will go over what exactly has changed and how we can maximize our use of the Guidelines in our cases.  Dr. Mueller will also address upcoming issues and scheduled reviews of Rules in the future.  Finally, Dr. Mueller will be happy to answer questions you may have about the Guidelines, or other questions you may have about her role at the Division.  Submitted for 1 General Ethics credit.
