Mr. Olafson is excited to present on a topic often overlooked by employers both local and national. Employer-sponsored social events often involve alcohol service in one form of another. Hence, these parties and social events can present employers with various liabilities that may result, including premise liability concerns if the events are held on an employer’s premises. This presentation will provide an overview to properly guide employers as to avoid the liability pitfalls that may result from sponsoring social events.
