This panel will discuss issues presented when an individual employee of a public or private entity is sued personally, including legal bases for claims asserted against individuals; legal strategies to get claims asserted against employees sued in their individual capacity dismissed; potential ethical concerns in representing both the employer and the individual employees in the same litigation; and practical issues to consider in jointly representing the employer and the employee.
