Nothing fancy here. Just two Jewish classics with two awesome chefs who will guide us how to make Knishes in January and Black & White Cookies in February. Learn about the origin of these two faves and how YOU AND YOUR FAMILY can make them at home. Some prep ahead will be necessary.
Our Chefs:
Chef Deb Dickinson decided to pursue her passion for food and cooking when her youngest entered kindergarten and enrolled in culinary school. She has been working as a chef ever since, working throughout Palm Beach County for caterers, at the Sundy House, as a personal chef and chef instructor at Sur La Table, in Boca Raton. Since the onset of Covid, Chef Deb has been offering on-line cooking classes for kids, teens and adults. She looks forward to Knish making with us on 1/24 –
Paula Shoyer, known as “The Kosher Baker” is the author of Healthy Jewish Kitchen , The Holiday Kosher Baker and The Kosher Baker: 160 dairy-free desserts from traditional to trendy. Paula’s recipes have been featured in newspapers, magazines, websites, blogs and on radio and TV shows all over the United States, Canada, Israel and even Asia. She is a French-trained pastry chef who teaches cooking and baking classes all around the world.
