In a Nutshell: A Complete Legacy Marketing Strategy

This session will identify the key issues in legacy marketing, long term strategies in planned giving cultivation, and specific lead generation. We will share a complete plan for the next year of your legacy fundraising program, along with insights into the top concerns that prospective legacy donors have about leaving a gift in their Will. 

Participants will leave this session with:

  • a tangible plan for their legacy program, 
  • insights on how to speak to donors about leaving a gift in their Will, 
  • and many examples of effective legacy communications.

About the Presenter:

Lynne Boardman has spent over 20 years creating successful individual giving programs in both North America and the UK. Her work has spanned health care, international development, human rights, education, the arts, and environmental causes. She is currently the Managing Director and Lead Copywriter at HMA, working with clients like Amnesty, Oxfam, Indspire, Covenant House, and a number of children’s hospitals. She speaks, strategizes and writes about legacy fundraising whenever there is someone nearby to listen.
