How does your investment in SCC’s Social Equity Campaign turn into results?
CITC contributions are entirely flexible. This gives SCC the room to be fluid, creative, and responsive.
CITC dollars helped us attain these accomplishments in the last year:
o SCC reached the 20 home mile mark towards our 100 Homes goal for acquiring and preserving affordable housing
o 35 families moved into our new affordable apartments at 181 Washington Street
o Over 500 people expressed public support to win passage of Inclusionary Zoning to 20%
o State Legislature passed Somerville’s Home Rule Petition to create a Jobs Linkage Fee
o Over 400 people participated in Financial Literacy, First Time Homebuyer, or First Source Jobs programs, progressing closer to economic stability
