A Story Slam is more than just a storytelling event. It's an invitation for people to share a few minutes of themselves in a room full of people who appreciate a well-told tale. These aren't stories for children, but rather an honest description of real life events and how they made us into the people we are. The stories can range from the funny to the sad. From heartwarming to heart wrenching. But they are all authentic gifts from the story tellers as they share a bit about themselves with all of us. Tales of Our Lives is empowerment through performance and promises to be two nights to remember!

This year, our story slammers will include Priscilla Dias Hill, Sara Krouse, Jamie Sheehy, Jim Pionkoskim, and Nancy Rafal with music by Jess Holland and Dorothy Scott. 

Tales of Our Lives is on Thursday, April 28th and Friday, April 29th at Kitchen Barons in Sturgeon Bay. Social hour will begin at 6 pm and story hour will start at 7 pm. An appetizer buffet is included in the admission price; a cash bar will be available. 

Both men and women are encouraged to attend.
