CCWA kicks off 2023 at Nové Yoga and Wellness!
Our hostess for the evening, Jitka Borowick, CCWA member and sponsor, will lead us into 2023 with a beginner's look at intention setting. She'll share how we can apply it to work, home, career and just about anything you need a bit of focus on in order to succeed. Jitka is an accomplished athlete and business owner. She has utilized intention setting to win races and founded not one, but two, local businesses - Nové Yoga in West Dennis and Clean Green, Inc in Barnstable.
The evening will include Dr. Lorraine Schratz as our Member Spotlight. She is a board certified Pediatric Cardiologist with Mass General Hospital for Children at locations in Boston, Worcester, and on Cape Cod. Lorraine is also the President of Kind Hearts for Kids. Founded in 2019, their mission is to "offer kindness and compassion to children and teenagers in Foster and Grandparent care, inspiring them to have courage and dreams for their future". We are really looking forward to hearing Lorraine's story!
We will have the Scholarship Raffle and encourage you to bring an item to support the Fund. This can be a seasonal item, chocolate, a bottle of wine, gift certificate, a book, etc. Be sure to include your name so we can recognize you when we call the winning ticket. All proceeds benefit the CCWA Scholarship Fund.
And of course, Happy Bucks is a must at our monthly meetings! Pay $1 for each announcement, shoutout, etc. you'd like to share with the group. The proceeds benefit Member Benefits.
Hot and cold beverages will be provided with appetizers catered by Ardeo Cafe & Catering Co.
Check-in begins at 5:30 pm and the program at 6:00 pm.
