The Provincial Coordinators of the Provincial Leadership Conference are sponsoring a series of four webinars to help bishops and deputies prepare for decision making at GC 2018. Each webinar will provide opportunities to explore issues and resolutions coming before the Convention. Presenters were selected because of their work in the topic areas and/or because they have been part of GC resolution development.

This month's presenters will focus on reconciliaiton, prison reform and gun violence. Our presenters include:

James McKim, PMP is the Chair of the Episcopal Church's Executive Council Committee on Anti-Racism (ECCAR). The son of Civil Rights Activists in Charleston, S.C., he serves on the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire's Commission on Ministry, the Reconciliation Commission, and is the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire representative to the Episcopal Province on New England's (Province 1) Multi-Cultural Awareness and Cultural Competency Task Force. He also serves on several non-profit boards including the Black Data Processing Association (BDPA) and New Hampshire Public Broadcasting. He is Chief of Staff for the Technical Training Division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

The Reverend Dr. Walter "Van" Zandt Windsor Originally ordained as part of the Continuing Episcopal Church Movement in 1986, Fr. Windsor was ordained in The Episcopal Church in 1994 and served as rector of historic St. Paul's Episcopal Church. While there, he was the start-up Chaplain for the Wilkinson County Correctional Facility, a privately run state prison, and the focus of his doctoral project at Episcopal Divinity School, "Establishing and Maintaining An Anti-Racism Prison Ministry in Mississippi." After serving in other locations, Van returned to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Woodville, Mississippi, in 2017 and serves as a Social Services Counselor, working full-time in the Mental Health Department at Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola), a short distance across the Louisiana border from Mississippi. Angola is the largest maximum security prison in the U.S., but it houses multi-levels of inmates, with over 6200 inmates, 2,000 staff, on 18,000 acres. He has served churches, and sat on diocesan task forces and held committee memberships, in Mississippi, the Central Gulf Coast, and Arkansas. He was a member of the Arkansas Diocesan Prison Ministry Committee and was a founding member of The Dick Johnston Children's Camp (a camp for the children of the incarcerated), serving as its Chaplain for 8 years. 

The Very Reverend Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas was named Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary and Professor of Theology at Union in September 2017.  She also serves as the Canon Theologian at the Washington National Cathedral.  Prior to Union, Dean Douglas served as Professor of Religion at Goucher College where she held the Susan D. Morgan Professorship of Religion and is now Professor Emeritus, was Associate Professor of Theology at Howard University School of Divinity and Assistant Professor of Religion at Edward Waters College. Ordained as an Episcopal priest in 1983, Dean Douglas holds a master’s degree in theology and a Ph.D. in systematic theology from Union.  She is the author of many articles and five books, including Sexuality and the Black Church: A Womanist Perspective and Stand Your Ground: Black Bodies and the Justice of God.  Her academic work has focused on womanist theology, sexuality and the black church.
